Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease
It is also known as acid reflux. It is a digestive disorder in stomach and that affects the lower esophageal sphincter. Many people know-how the acid reflux from time to time. GERD is mild acid reflux that occurs at least twice a week, or moderate to severe acid reflux that occurs at least once a week. Several people including pregnant women suffer from heartburn or acid indigestion caused by GERD. Treatment options include lifestyle changes treatments and sometimes surgery for those who do not improve with the first two measures.
