Hepatology

Hepatology is the branch of medicine which deals with the study of liver, gallbladder, biliary tree and pancreas.  Diseases and its complications are related to viral hepatitis and alcohol. Hepatitis B and hepatitis C are major causes of liver cancer, while alcohol abuse is related to the conditions such as cirrhosis and other serious complications.
